The source

On the third day, when it was morning, there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain, and the sound of an exceedingly loud trumpet; and all the people who were in the camp trembled. Allusion1

A deliberate verbal borrowing without a citation formula.

Rev 16:17-21

Sinai theophany: thunders, lightnings, and the whole mountain quaking greatly. The seventh bowl's 'lightnings, sounds, thunders, and a great earthquake' (16:18) is patterned on the covenant-making theophany, now as covenant judgment.

Echo2

A fainter, low-volume reuse, carried by recurrence or thematic coherence.

2 Thess 1:6-7 ?

The Sinai theophany — the LORD descending in fire amid smoke and trembling — stands behind the biblical grammar of God revealed in 'flaming fire.' Paul's parousia language is colored by this foundational fire-theophany even where no single verse is quoted. Faint and diffuse.

Mark 15:37-38 ?

The tearing open of the sacred boundary recalls Sinai's theophany where God descends in cloud and the mountain is wrapped in awe; some read the rent veil as a renewed theophanic disclosure paralleling the heavens 'torn' (schizomenous) at Jesus' baptism, the same verb. The Sinai echo is faint but coheres with Mark's tearing-open inclusio.
