Allusion2

A deliberate verbal borrowing without a citation formula.

Rev 22:10–13

'Many shall purify themselves... but the wicked shall act wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.' Direct source for the let-the-unjust-remain-unjust / let-the-righteous-remain-righteous antithesis. Strong volume and verbal echo (esp. OG/Theodotion).

High confidence
Rev 7:13-17

"Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white (LXX leukanthosin) and be refined" through the time of trouble — the closest source for the eschatological making-white of the faithful precisely amid tribulation, matching "made them white" of those who "came out of the great tribulation." Daniel's end-time-refining-whitening is thematically and verbally apt (leukaino).

Medium confidence

Echo2

A fainter, low-volume reuse, carried by recurrence or thematic coherence.

Matt 13:10-17 ?

'The wicked shall not understand, but the wise shall understand' — an eschatological have/have-not of understanding paralleling v.11-12.

Low confidence
Matt 24:9-14 ?

'many will be purified... but the wicked shall act wickedly' (Dan 12:10) parallels the sifting in which many stumble and love grows cold while some endure to be saved.
